From 31 March to 04 April 2025, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor Nataliia Vinnikova and Deputy Head of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Internationalisation of Higher Education Iryna Mankovska took part in the Erasmus+ International Staff Week at the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) together with representatives of higher education institutions from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Romania, Cyprus, Georgia, and Armenia.
At an official meeting with Renáta Tomášková, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the University of Ostrava, Nataliia Vinnikova discussed the prospects for further cooperation between higher education institutions, including within the framework of the international alliance of universities NEOLAiA, where Grinchenko University is an associate member.
Nataliia Vinnikova and Iryna Mankovska also discussed the possibilities of joint international research and educational projects with representatives of the Faculty of Social Studies, the Faculty of Education (Department of Special Education) and the Faculty of Arts (Department of Sociology). The prospects of participation in the international NEOLAiA alliance were outlined, in particular, the joint educational programme “Inclusion Studies”, joining the Open Research Hub, scientific publications in the Ostrava University journal indexed in the international scientometric database Scopus, participation in scientific conferences, etc.
In addition, they visited the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, the academic building where the Physical Education programme is taught, and got acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the University of Ostrava, innovative simulation learning spaces, etc. As part of the rich programme of the Erasmus+ International Staff Week, Nataliia Vinnikova and Iryna Mankovska joined a number of trainings and workshops thematically related to various areas of activity of higher education institutions.
