31 March 2025
Brussels School of Journalism and Communication (IHECS)
Since 31 March, as part of the Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching programme, lecturers Tetiana Polishchuk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism for Scientific, Pedagogical, Social and Humanitarian Work and Marharyta Netreba, PhD in Social Communication, Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, have been on a mobility programme at the Brussels School of Journalism and Communication (IHECS).
The three-week mobility programme includes a series of lectures on digital sustainability, uniting Ukrainian creative communities to counter propaganda, workshops on visual communication techniques and discussions on the specifics of photojournalism in times of war. Our lecturers share the unique experience that our country is gaining now.
International cooperation is extremely important for our university, especially nowadays. It allows us to share Ukrainian experience in media education and journalism in wartime with European colleagues and students, adopt best practices and establish strong international ties.
We are grateful to IHECS for the warm welcome and opportunity for such fruitful cooperation. Together we are making an important contribution to the development of media education and intercultural dialogue.
