Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University continues to develop international cooperation. In April 2025, a framework agreement was signed between Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University and Brussels School of Journalism and Communication (IHECS) (Kingdom of Belgium).
Brussels School of Journalism and Communication (IHECS) is a prestigious Belgian educational institution founded in 1958 and located in the heart of Brussels. IHECS is known for its innovative approaches to training media professionals and high quality education. The institution offers bachelor's and master's degree programmes in journalism, public relations, advertising, socio-cultural communication and other media fields.
IHECS has a strong technological base: modern television and radio studios, editorial offices and media laboratories. The educational process is based on a practical approach to education, with the active involvement of experienced practitioners from various media industries. IHECS graduates work in leading media companies in Europe and the world, which is evidence of the high quality of education and international recognition of the institution.
Borys Grinchenko's cooperation with IHECS was launched with the support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ projects in 2022. The signing of the framework agreement is an important step in deepening cooperation, as IHECS is one of the leading European higher education institutions in the field of journalism and communication. Students and teachers will have a unique opportunity to adopt the best European practices and share their own experience. The agreement is aimed at developing academic mobility, joint research, exchange of educational resources between two universities, access to European practices in media education, etc. It opens up new opportunities for students and teachers of both institutions, particularly in the field of education and research.
