Project overview
The project addresses the critical challenges faced by internally displaced (IDP) children in Ukraine. It focuses on the development of an interactive football training programme tailored to their specific needs, with a primary emphasis on enhancing their overall wellbeing and facilitating their social integration within host communities.
Expected results
Interactive football curriculum: development of a specialized football training programme designed to support the physical development of internally displaced children in Ukraine.
Inclusive training environment: implementation of regular football sessions that cater to the needs of IDP children, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for participation.
Professional capacity building: enhancement of the professional skills of coaches and volunteers through specialized coaching clinics, practical seminars, and summer camps.
Community empowerment and sustainability: strengthening the capacity of local communities and grassroots organizations to maintain and scale the programme beyond the project’s lifecycle, thereby maximizing its long-term impact on the displaced youth population in Ukraine.
