The project brings together institutions from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Ukraine to promote modern, evidence-based  and inclusive approaches to supporting people who stutter.

Project objective: to disseminate modern, evidence-based and inclusive approaches to supporting people who stutter based on the CARE™ Model, developed by the Arthur M. Grinchenko University's key responsibilities within the project framework involve:

  • organizing three interactive webinars (for educators and educational staff; for speech-language pathologists and students; for people who stutter and their families);
  • conducting an information campaign to raise awareness about stuttering, overcome stereotypes and promote inclusive communication principles;
  • participating in the creation and adaptation of informational materials, gathering personal stories of people who stutter and disseminating project results;
  • populating and updating the Ukrainian-language section of the joint project website;
  • preparing the national section of a joint electronic publication on the implementation of the CARE™ Model in both Ukrainian and English;
  • presenting the Ukrainian experience at the V4 & Ukraine CARE™ International Hybrid Symposium at the University of Silesia in Katowice.

Project deliverables: Educational events for specialists, students, people who stutter, and their families, as well as the creation and adaptation of materials on applying the CARE™ Model. Recordings of webinars, instructional videos, manuals and methodological resources will be publicly available on the joint website. Ukrainian experience will be featured in the national section of the joint electronic publication in Ukrainian and English.
