After the announcementabout signing of the bilateral agreement on academic cooperation between the University of Foggia (Italy) and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University were presented and discussed prospects of collaboration in projects Horizon 2020, Erasmus KA2, expanding the program of academic mobility of students and scholars Erasmus + 2018-2019, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, participation in joint research projects and the Italian Language Association, Research Laboratory ERID and other types of academic cooperation.

During the training within academic program Erasmus +, Julia Shtaltovna, senior research worker of SRL of Internationalization of Higher Education of our University, presented the main directions of scientific research of Humanities Institute University of Foggia featuring Director of the Institute and the Vice-Rector on Science of the University.

According to the results of the program of academic mobility Erasmus + 2016-2017 with University of Foggia (Italy), five students (three on specialty "Practical Psychology" and two on specialty "Philology. Italian language and literature") and three lecturers of the chair of Romance Philology and typological and comparative linguistics Institute of Philology Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University had academic training at the University of Foggia.

Professor of economics Pierpaolo Magliocca have visited us with guest-lectures from Italian University and the next semester two students from the University of Foggia would study in our University.

November 9, 2016 within the project Tempus "Education for leadership, intelligence and development of talent» (ELITE - Education for Leadership, Intelligence and Talent Encouraging) at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University was held the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference "University and Leadership".

Participants of the conference were greeted by Daina Hudoniyene, coordinator of the project Tempus program, Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania); Simon Williams, Director of the British Council in Ukraine (UK); Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine).

At the plenary session of the conference key speakers were: Jill Jamison, University of Greenwich (UK), Victor Ogneviuk, Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (Ukraine); Vuokko Kohtamaki, University of Tampere (Finland), Gregory Rayter, Rayter Corporation (USA).

Conference continued with the next thematic sessions:

• "Leadership Practices: program of development leadership potential of Ukrainian universities"
• "The quality of higher education"
• "Cooperation with the business"
• "The practice of leadership in Ukrainian universities"

The results of the conference summarized moderator of the event, Svetlana Kalashnikova, Director of Institute of Higher Education National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, who underlined the importance of the universities’ participation in the international projects, and invited participants to the Third International Scientific Conference "University and Leadership", that would take place on the basic of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in May 2017.
