On 20 May 2026, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University welcomed participants of the 15th International Scientific Conference “Kyiv and Kyivans in the Socio-Cultural Space of Ukraine: Institutional Environment.” This year’s forum became an effective platform for dialogue between distinguished scholars and young researchers, who focused on exploring the historical retrospective of urban institutions and seeking answers to the existential challenges of the present day.

On 20 May 2026, as part of the Science Festival 2026, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University hosted the 2nd International Scientific Roundtable titled “Turkology in the Context of Contemporary Oriental Studies in Art History.” The event served as an important platform for intercultural dialogue, the development of international academic cooperation and the promotion of research in the fields of Turkology, Art History and cultural heritage. The event was organized and supported by: NGO “El-Cheber”, “Ukrainian Family” Community (Republic of Turkey), the Canadian Association of Crimean Tatars (Canada) and the Polish Foundation “Art Cluster” (Republic of Poland).

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.

European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
