On April 23, 2026, at the meeting of the Academic Council at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, the report of Olha Shulha, recipient of the Borys Paton Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Scholarship, Doctor of Sciences in Economics, Professor, Professor at the Department of Management, on the completion of her research project entitled “Developing an Effective Economic Security Management System for the Agricultural Sector within the Framework of Sustainable Development” (registration number: 0125U003389; implementation period: January 2025 – April 2026) was approved.

From 13 to 17 April 2026, Olha Rudenko, a lecturer in the Department of Romance Philology at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, took part in a week-long training course entitled “Spanish as a tool for internationalisation: Hispanic Culture through Short Films” (“El español como herramienta de internacionalización: cultura hispánica a través del cortometraje”), organised by the University of Cádiz (Kingdom of Spain) as part of the Erasmus+ programme.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.

European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
